As fellow hot rodders, the BFR team has to wish a Happy Birthday to an absolute legend today! Ed “Isky” Iskenderian turns 104 and is still kicking! 🤯 He is the founder of Isky Racing Cams that is a leader in performance parts. He is known as the “Cam Father” and lit an inextinguishable fire in automotive industry that introduced to the world one of the first performance camshafts. God has to love hot rodding to let the cam father live this long. One can only dream of what just an hour conversation with this man would be like with his century old stories with valuable life insight because he has clearly never given up.
Anyone that has experienced the “cam life” can say that others who haven’t experienced it are missing out and deserve at least one vehicle with a choppy cam. It is highly recommended for couples as the jiggling and chopping vibration keep it entertaining. 😉 

Ed is one smart entrepreneur and has given hot rodders the recipe for a long life. 💯

    Happy 249th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸


    BFR would like to wish all of our customers a fun-filled Independence Day holiday! May you and your loved ones enjoy this day and remember that it represents everything you constructively contribute to our company, the industry, and ultimately, the country. This holiday has become a powerful symbol of freedom, liberty, and the American ideal of self-determination. It is a day to reflect on the values enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the sacrifices made to secure them. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the core values of the United States, such as liberty, equality, and the pursuit of happiness, which are deeply rooted in the Declaration of Independence.


    On a personal note, it’s important in 2025 to love your country no matter what unknown circumstances it may be facing. This can be challenging but necessary. For some, it’s hard right now as others are rejoicing. Let the equally divided parties duke it out with drama and chaos while the unaffiliated (the majority) adapt and overcome whatever obstacles fall their way. This whole right-wing, left-wing BS needs to disappear to common sense that they’re both wings of the same bird. America deserves a purposeful president now more than ever and hasn’t had one since 2008 with George W. Bush. Presidents like Harry Truman that dropped an atomic bomb on Japan to end WWII and save American lives in 1945 with a 91% approval rating or Ronald Reagan, with a 71% approval rating that was responsible for introducing the War on Drugs to the United States are what America needs. Bill Clinton may have been scandalous, but he introduced a new tax system which increased taxes on the rich and decreased them on the poor and had a 73% approval rating. Most can agree that the last administration was complete garbage and the 2024 election didn’t have much positive change to choose from so it’s ride or die at this point. The current government clearly has too much power. They want the American people sick (COVID proved this) while offering no affordable healthcare, on drugs while offering unaffordable treatment and dissolution mental healthcare all while pushing prescription drugs down everyone’s throats so big government pharma can profit. They can’t even keep drugs out of government property as it’s mostly abundant in prisons and schools. There’s a reason why prisons and schools look and operate the same because US government schooling simply serves two comical purposes, one is prison preparation and the other is preparing for the mentally and physically draining 9-5 grind. They approve junk food to keep Americans sick. They allow cigarettes and alcohol to be deathly legal as the government reaps profits when it becomes uncontrollable. They comically stress socializing to develop, learn and grow when history has proven that geniuses don’t prioritize socializing. Many prefer their own company even if they are capable of socializing. It’s all a scheme by design to keep the American people distracted while the government scams its own people. They even want control of our children by educating them to their standards. Most of us are not okay with giving the government that much power over us and our families. The result of government schooling surrounds us and it’s not improving anytime soon. Voting is now a joke. There’s a voter registration website dedicated to listing the American people as “active” or “inactive” like an inmate status. 🤣 Some might not agree but at the BFR camp, anything concerning the government is preferred to be inactive. At the end of every day, simply pay the government their required taxes that supports others and infrastructure and keep it moving. There’s plenty of freedom without government involvement only if you personally seek it. Wake up, America. The true meaning of independence and freedom is self-sought and is on the horizon for everyone. You’ve got this! 💯

          Happy Father’s Day to all of BFR’s customers!!! ❤️ 

          This day is for all of the men that's always "lifting" up their families or the men who keep their family "rolling", just like their trucks. 😉

          The general meaning of Father's Day is to honor fathers for all the sacrifices they make for their families daily. Fatherhood is a lot like being a small business owner. Both require sacrifice, provide learning experiences, show you what you're made of and can be incredibly rewarding. Fathers can be a big influence in the lives of entrepreneurs by guiding and inspiring. Some individuals may learn about business from their fathers, leading to a desire to start their own. 

          Boomers have valuable insight on how important father figures are. Some don’t have offspring and are brave enough not to pass on generational trauma. Today’s society appreciates the thoughtful intentional gesture of not producing future hurtful/harmful citizens. There's so much truth in an old boomers' advice pouring from their cup of wisdom by saying things like, "be careful who you have children (procreate) with, find someone who loves their father or is resilient enough to live without one” because "daddy issues" are rampant in today's society. A missing father figure is noticeable in another human based on repeated negative behavior. It’s a proven fact that society needs fathers. Psalm 34:18 reminds us — “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”… but only if you are willing to change and accept Him. ❤️

          Personally, in the BFR camp, Father's Day serves as a celebration for three honorable men... Brad, Mrs. BFR's father, who will be 68 on 9/27 and Brad's father, who has unfortunately already passed on from his earthly life. Brad is a biological father of three and a bonus dad to three more, so "Dad" is his honorary title. Being a father figure to one's own offspring is what one is supposed to do, yet over 400,000 children are in U.S. foster care with court dockets and news outlets exposing failures daily, so to be a bonus dad is only something that heroes are made of and called to do through the Lord’s work. It takes a special empath to help raise non-biological children. 💯

          To kick off Brad’s celebration, the BFR crew showered him with gifts of thoughtful cards, his favorite foods and the traditional special occasion winning lottery tickets. Mrs. BFR also made sure his sacrifices didn't go unnoticed by upgrading some things on his hotrod truck. The windows are finally ceramic tinted all the way around. It would have been completed already in the form of DIY, but it's like a prehistoric dinosaur and doesn't have removable window strips under the door panels like modern vehicles do and he has fresh new "made to order" rubber on the way. Summit Racing was a letdown for this special occasion. A lesson was learned when ordering some “made to order" tires to order 2+ months in advance. These tires have been paid for since April but will not ship until June 20th. Father's Day weekend was filled with taking family and meeting family at cruise-ins in Mebane, Norwood and locally at StokeRidge. Brad truly enjoys sharing his build and now that others know, they'll surely be following his lead. There have been at least 50 people that have taken a joy ride with Brad in his hotrod since he built it from all of his close family, many friends from over the years to business customers, a few cool neighbors, and several strangers that he's met at car meets and through Marketplace that purchase his extra parts for their own build. If you show interest in the truck, he's going to ask you if you want to take a ride in it. The most awesome thing about it is this truck will straight smoke the tires with minimal effort so it's a thrilling experience. That's something that most things on the street cannot compete with. Only built 4 bangers, V6's, V8's or supercar V10's and V12's carry this capability. Not even torque monster turbo diesels can do this as they have to "spool up" to get going. This truck is really an eye catcher to many people of all ages with attractive and desirable exhaust notes that showcase horsepower and not just obnoxious noise. It's always getting a thumbs up everywhere it goes. On the roads, it is prone to trolling speeders and watching them get gapped when the pedal is smacked on the beast and it's even more awesome to troll the bumper humpers by letting them get really close and leaving them in tire smoke.

          Cheers to all of the legends like Brad, who have earned that title, to enjoy their day! On this day and every day, always remember that #HorsepowerIsNon-Negotiable and the good people are raising children that outdo them in every single way by being smarter, going further, healing faster and winning bigger. Say no to raising mini-me's and stay focused on raising improved upgraded editions. 💯

              Today is National Forklift Safety Day!!! 

              June 10, 2025, marks the twelfth anniversary of National Forklift Safety Day. This annual event serves as the focal point for forklift manufacturers and repair companies to reinforce the importance of operator safety training and forklift safety practices. The event also provides an opportunity for the industry to educate customers.
              Purpose:

              To raise awareness about the importance of forklift safety and encourage safe practices in the workplace.

              Who Observes:

              Businesses, organizations, and individuals involved in material handling and warehousing.

              Promoting forklift safety is the best way to reduce the number of forklift accidents and injuries.

              Facts about forklift safety:

              1. 70% of all industrial accidents are caused by operator error.

              2. Effective forklift training may reduce accident rates by 25-30%.

              3. Forklift operator training is required by OSHA and critical for a safe work environment.

              4. Pedestrian training is just as important to safety as forklift operator training.

              5. Promoting awareness is the best chance of reducing forklift accidents.

              6. Using a forklift instead of manually lifting heavy items will reduce back-related injuries.

              7. Following forklift operator training, OSHA found a 61% improvement in operator performance scores.

              8. Employers are required by OSHA to train, evaluate, certify, re-train and re-evaluate.
