Competitor prices? That's the real monster. 😈
This week BFR had the privilege of traveling to a yet another new town for business called Locust, NC, which is just south of Concord, to prove that affordable pricing is attainable even 2 hours away. 💯 This customer had a hydraulic leak and desperately wanted and needed the forklift repaired as soon as possible. The BFR team put their brains to work to find a same-day service hydraulic shop nearby. Shout out to Custom Hydraulics of Charlotte for coming to the rescue and having the seal that was needed. Some hydraulic shops don’t even carry all seals in inventory, but when “custom” is in the name it should be expected that they supply most of the common seals or they will create one. BFR was able to put the forklift back in service in a timely manner to create yet another satisfied customer! Let’s hope they spread the word with recommendations in Cabarrus County.
Here at BFR, forklift service is built around you and your business. Always striving for customer satisfaction. No empty promises. If we can’t help you, we’ll find someone who can. No tricks, just the treat of a guaranteed low price. Call today!

Let’s do a customer shoutout this week! BFR is so grateful for acquiring this local life-changing customer last year. The best thing is that they have not one, but two locations in Rockingham County between Mayodan and Stoneville. Their cleaning products contain pure ingredients. They don't use any extras or additives and provide clean clothes, not clean-ish clothes. There are no additives in the way, clearing the path for surfactants to do their job. Once it is learned that corporate cleaning products, such as Tide and Gain, leave more residue than they clean, you can never go back to using those products. Charlie Soap products can be purchased at most local grocery stores from Food Lion, Walmart to Bi-Rite or even purchased through Amazon Prime. Google search them and check out their website today!
Also, shout out to decade old friends Al and Amy of Creek Deep Automotive for helping BFR with a customer from Eden even though the customer lost the hardware. Al has forklift repair experience through Lift One before starting his own business a few years ago and has many years of running his own business prior to that. These two are the type to give the shirt off their backs to anyone in need. Business is all about networking. Everyone makes money by passing work off and customers stay happy because the work is getting done. BFR is the type to sub off work and put money into a buddies pocket before telling a customer ”I’m too busy.” 💯
The inevitable has raised its ugly head in the forklift repair industry. Unfortunately, paying attention in economics class confirms that this injustice trickles down to you (the consumers, our customers). The BFR team will try everything within power to offset the difference by shopping around, researching for coupon codes, purchasing common parts in bulk, etc. to keep prices low and affordable. It’s really not that big of a deal when all that is purchased from this particular company is maintenance products. BFR’s major parts supplier is TVH with Hi-Lo Industrial sourcing obsolete parts. TVH is a global company that can offset this type of situation effortlessly and hasn’t spoken on the tariffs but if you’re a member, it’s easy to verify that they are also affected by going back through account to compare former orders on the same part to this year.
Plan B will always be waiting. If that means only offering maintenance and repair services on Toyota, Crown, and Mitsubishi forklifts due to a significant number of parts manufactured in the U.S., then so be it. USA-made parts can be a bit more expensive than their overseas counterparts. But that’s paying for the quality, durability, and the peace of mind that comes with the knowledge of a reliable product. In the long run, investing in high-quality parts can save money by reducing the need for frequent replacements and repairs.
When the bigger picture is considered, America doesn't have the capacity to produce everything it consumes so this circus will not last long. Small businesses account for 99.9% of all U.S. businesses and generate 44% of U.S. economic activity creating unstoppable economic powerhouses. The current approval ratings show where most small businesses stand.
One thing is for sure, bankruptcy will never be an option for BFR like the current U.S. Commander in Chief supported 6 different times. Framing bankruptcies as a “savvy business strategy”, and claims of legally using bankruptcy laws to shed debt and make a "fantastic deal" is the definition of evil greed. This action does nothing to support small businesses, in fact it has the power to shut them down. When a big business files for bankruptcy, it can significantly impact small businesses through a "domino effect" that affects revenue, cash flow, credit, and employment. This occurs because small businesses often operate as creditors, suppliers, or contractors to the larger corporations. If a large customer collapses, the small business can be left with a warehouse full of products that have no resale value. This leads to a sudden loss of a key revenue stream and potential inventory loss. The effects can ripple beyond the immediate industry. For example, if a major local employer goes bankrupt, the resulting layoffs mean less consumer spending in the area. Local businesses, like restaurants and retailers, will see less business regardless of their connection to the bankrupt company. A major bankruptcy can make lenders and insurers jittery about the entire sector. A small business might find it harder to get financing or favorable credit terms from suppliers, especially if it operates in the same industry as the failed corporation. For instance, a small business might seek additional financing to stay afloat after losing a major customer, but its bank may become hesitant to lend due to the perceived risk. If a small business was a known supplier to a now-bankrupt major firm, customers and vendors might lose confidence in its stability, even if it is financially sound. Managing public perception becomes critical to maintain trust.
Additionally, if you’re spiritually aware, you know where this is going. The Bible condemns using bankruptcy for profit, as it runs counter to core teachings on integrity, honesty, and justice. While biblical law includes principles for debt forgiveness intended to prevent perpetual poverty, it strongly condemns the use of deception or fraud for personal gain. The Bible frames dishonest gain, particularly at the expense of others, as a grave sin. Proverbs 11:1 states, "The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him". Applying this to bankruptcy, deliberately manipulating assets to defraud creditors is a violation of this principle. In Jude 1:11, those who run "greedily in the error of Balaam for profit" are condemned. Falsely declaring bankruptcy to pocket profits is a clear expression of this greedy and self-serving attitude. 1 Timothy 6:10 warns that "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil," which can lead people to stray from their faith. Using bankruptcy as a scheme for profit is a prime example of prioritizing money over moral integrity.
In the end, evil never wins. Human beings are more capable now than ever of managing and feeding our inner beast, which has consumed the U.S in the first place. The power of free will can be self destructive or one’s come up but the choice is always up to the individual. There’s no doubt, BFR will adapt and overcome these political clowns. 💯
Spooky season is officially here!!!
👻 🕷️🐈⬛🧙♀️🎃💀
The only thing scarier than Halloween is our competitors' high prices so we’re haunting the competition with frighteningly low prices. 💯
BFR’s affordable prices helped put in some miles today, from traveling locally to Stoneville and Madison, hopping on over to Danville and Martinsville, swinging by the BFR compound for one of a kind homemade lunch and headed out to Clemmons to finish up the day.
Everyday is a new day to be a BFR customer where you’re always a 🥇winner.🏆 All it takes is simple communication. You could easily be like this 2.5 hours away Rocky Mount customer from last week that plans repairs in advance and creates a full day out of it. When this customer says be there at 7 a.m. then that’s what’s going to happen. Leaving at 4:00 a.m. will never be an issue. This stone installing company only has BFR work on any and all of their equipment from forklifts to several moffetts, diesel trucks to replacing the pump on a portable pressure washer. This is such a grateful customer to have.
On a final note, stay tuned to this week’s blog to find out why your business should avoid purchasing any and all Chinese forklifts from competitors.
