    Happy Mother’s Day!!!

This Mother’s Day, we want to recognize the moms who keep everything moving—at home, at work, and everywhere in between. Just like a reliable forklift keeps your business running, moms are the strength behind it all. At Brad’s Forklift Repair, we’re proud to support the hardworking families and businesses in our community with dependable, mobile repair service you can count on. Thank you to all the amazing moms for everything you do—today and every day. 💐

Some moms never stop doing for their kiddos, even on Mother’s Day and that’s how it is at the BFR camp. The BFR teenagers were provided with an opportunity to learn knee boarding this Mother’s Day and did so well! The opportunities on water are endless for kids on a speed boat that can pull around anything water related with ease while most pontoons are limited to pulling around tubes. Even Mrs. BFR had a blast helping Brad accomplish knee boarding by getting behind wake boats to set him up on some bigger choppy 5 ft waves to yeet him right into the lake. 🤣 His videos are awesome and he has a few twists and tricks up his sleeve. Hopefully the BFR kids will be doing twists and tricks by the end of the summer. 💯

Also, check out the Mother’s Day catfish! Whoop whoop! 🥳 Fishing has always been a hobby for the BFR crew. There’s a new tradition of sounding those dual, chrome, made in the USA Vixen horns every time the BFR crew lands a fish. This fish came with a price of loosing 3 others along with a lot of tackle (hooks and weights) as they are frisky bottom feeders that can get snagged and take all of the bait easily. Brad likes to fish for bass, catfish and carp. Mrs. BFR likes to catch bluegill (the “piranhas“ that nip your legs) and catfish, but will snag a bass unintentionally from time to time. Usually, no matter where you go, bass fishing is best in the early morning and late evening while catfishing is possible at any time of the day. The secret to landing catfish is Slim Jim. Just cut off a 2 inch piece, slide it around a catfish hook with weights and wait. There’s a million percent guarantee that it will land catfish. 💯

When your forklift goes down, excuses don’t get it back up—service does.

This customer bought their lift from the other company in Rockingham County… but when it came time for repairs, they couldn’t even get them on the phone.

So who did they call? The company that actually shows up.

    At Brad’s Forklift Repair:
    ✔ We answer the phone
    ✔ We show up
    ✔ We fix it right

There may be only a couple options around here—but only one that’s reliable when it counts.

    📞Call: 336-355-1546
Service on all makes & models.

Don’t get stuck with a company that disappears after the sale. This business joined all of the others, like Charlie’s Soap and Piedmont Stone, that figured out which of the two forklift repair businesses in Rockingham County to trust. 💯

Happy Birthday to the one and only, Brad!!! 🎂

BFR would like to celebrate its owner and customers today! Small businesses celebrate customers everyday while corporate companies only celebrate profits. The real heroes are those who support real businesses with real humans behind them.
Let’s do what BFR does best and throw Toyota Material Handling under the bus. You get what you pay for with corporations and it’s seriously not a flex. Corporations are very deceitful about the services they offer. Small businesses are out there bringing real morality back and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. 💯

      Let’s compare:

🚨 “Why Is My Forklift Repair Quote Almost $9,000?!”

Because you called corporate, not a small business. Big-name material handling companies love invoices like this. You? Not so much.

Here’s what that kind of quote usually includes that nobody talks about:

🏢 Corporate Forklift Repair = Corporate Pricing

You’re not just paying for repairs. You’re paying for:

      • 📍 Multiple office locations

      • 🧑‍💼 Layers of management

      • 🚚 Huge fleets & overhead

      • 📑 Admin departments

      • 📊 Corporate profit margins

That all gets built into your bill.

So, a job that should be reasonable turns into:

      💰 $1,900 labor

      💰 $2,000+ in parts

      💰 $700 “misc”

💰 Shop fees, delivery fees, inspection fees

      ➡️ Suddenly you’re staring at $8,700+

🔧 Small Business Forklift Repair Is Different

When you hire a local independent repair service, you get:

✅ The actual technician, not a sales rep

✅ Lower overhead = lower labor rates

✅ Honest “fix what’s needed” approach

✅ Used, aftermarket, or OEM part options

      ✅ No corporate “package” repairs

✅ Faster decisions — no waiting on approval chains

We survive on reputation, not contracts.

💬 Corporate Mindset vs Small Business Mindset

      Corporate:

      “Replace the whole assembly.”

      Small Business:

“Let’s repair what’s worn and save you thousands.”

      Corporate:

      “Here’s the estimate.”

      Small Business:

“Let me explain what failed and your options.”

⚠️ What Happens When You Overpay?

      • Delayed repairs on other equipment

      • Tight cash flow

      • More downtime because budgets get stretched

      • You start running forklifts past safe limits

All because one repair bill ate the month’s budget.

❤️ Why Small Businesses Fight Harder for You

      Because when your forklift runs:

      👉 your business runs

      👉 your people work

👉 your money stays in your company — not a corporate office in another state

We’re not trying to hit quarterly numbers. We’re trying to keep your equipment working without wrecking your wallet.

🔧 Before you approve that big-box estimate… get a second opinion.

You might be surprised how much of that invoice is overhead, not necessity.

Small business repair. Straight answers. Fair pricing. That’s how forklift service should be done.

            Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

Behind every reliable forklift repair is a strong team. Forklift repair isn’t just what we do — it’s what we build together.

From wrenching on forklifts to running parts, handling paperwork, taking techs lunch on the job, bleeding brakes or answering calls, BFR is a husband-and-wife team working side by side to keep your operation moving forward. We’re a team who believes that when you work together, everyone wins — especially our customers because when teamwork makes the dream work, the results show in every job we do.

            📞 Honest service.

            🤝 Family values.

🛠️ Forklifts fixed right the first time.

⭐️Special shout out to Bruce for helping BFR all week long. BFR had to reschedule several PM’s until next week due to 5 breakdowns in a 2 day period. 🥵 This week BFR traveled to Greensboro, Winston, Concord, Advance, Mount Airy and Kernersville. It’s also been a week that has opened up opportunities to be excited about the future. Special thanks to Mr. Lankford and his wife Debra for their time and consideration. BFR picked up several customers in a single multi-warehouse location on the outskirts of K-ville. 👏 Let’s gooooooooo!!!! BFR is going after ACT. They are known to rob their customers blind… $320 just to show up… charging $160 an hour, $160 service call and they are charging a full EXTRA hour just to ride up the street to get a part or seal. 😳 Their techs aren’t experienced enough to properly fix a dash code. They rewired the forward and reverse switch that didn‘t fix the problem and still billed the customer. 🤬 Don’t be a forklift repair corporate business clown, BFR will expose you. 💯

The loses are practically irrelevant. While 2025 has overall been a great year, failures still existed but that’s not something to dwell on. Some failures involved ordering the wrong part and costing customers extra downtime. BFR actively works everyday to prevent this undesirable outcome. The only major downfall was hiring a fired on the first day human that looked semi-good on paper with an Automotive Technician degree, but had a mile-long traffic rap sheet. Those documents humbly expose truth. Never overlook any convicted felonies or recent convictions because that’s the kind of person you are most likely dealing with. People can change but many don’t because it takes working on self awareness with willpower to get to know themselves. This person violently backed into a huge main support beam in front of the warehouse owner with their own forklift! 😳😩 BFR survived, learned a lesson and set higher standards for employment. With that said, let’s recognize the humans who helped BFR move forward. Special thanks to Danny, Bruce and Doug for all of their help in 2025! BFR could not have succeeded without them. The next business goal is to have another service truck on the road with an exceptional employee behind it. Now, let’s get it done! 💪
