“The Leader In High-Quality, Low-Cost Forklift Repair”
Meet a possessed forklift. 😂 Just kidding!
You must be a professional and know what you are doing to work on this one!
Customer called last week and stated the forklift would not move, assuming the brakes locked up, since there is a known minimal issue going on in that area. As BFR pulled up, lift was fine. BFR left it up to the customer to decide to continue with having it looked at since this particular customer is always generous and takes care of everything without question. The customer opted out of continuing services and sent BFR on their way to the next call.
Fast forward to this week, customer calls again with the same complaint. Same thing happens, as soon as BFR pulls up, the lift is fine. This time the customer decided to let BFR take an in depth look. Sure enough, BFR immediately tracked down a bad wiring connection at the starter. Then, put lift back in service to satisfy a loyal repeat customer. 💪
Here at BFR, we keep it real. Mistakes and mishaps are a natural part of life that simply requires balance to navigate. It‘s not about what happens to you but more of how you decide to handle any situation. If you operate a small business, patience is a must.
In the recent situations that BFR has experienced, we hope our appreciated Kernersville and Pinehurst customers think we handled them in a professional manner as both situations have since been resolved.
In one situation, a USPS employee decided to test our patience by slapping a “return to sender” sticker on a mailed check that displayed our correct address but omitted BFR’s name as the recipient on the address line. The other situation dealt with a customer writing a check for payment with a “future date” that looks like 2029. It’s clearly meant to be an open “4” but try telling that to a bank.
#PatienceIsPower
Preventative maintenance is always essential. The pictures above demonstrate oil that was very low in a new customers lift. Luckily, they called BFR at the right time to resolve the issue before any major issues occurred!
BFR also has an important reminder for customers:
PLEASE insure for PM services that operation of the forklift is minimal to none before BFR’s arrival for the safety of any forklift technician hired. Engines are scorching hot when in operation for a long period of time.
WARNING: If you operate your forklift prior to performing PM services, BFR will reschedule your service until the next available appointment. This will ONLY happen if your service affects another scheduled customers appointment. Otherwise, BFR will wait until the engine cools down to perform required maintenance and repairs. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.
Enjoy a view that attracted some 1 a.m. fans searching for answers. 😴 Unfortunately, not all people and businesses were put here to evolve. Some are here to remind you what it looks like if you don’t. 😉🤫
Here at BFR, we take operating a small business seriously. We have learned two key components:
1. Never let your competitors know your next move beforehand.
2. Always thank your customers for they are the very reason your business even operates!
This post’s purpose is to say THANK YOU TO ALL CUSTOMERS OF BFR!! We appreciate your continued consideration and support!! ❤️
Listening to customers creates job security. This particular customer requested a wheel cylinder replacement only to find out during repair that they also had wet brakes and needed new brake pads. After communicating with customer, they did not wish to purchase new ones until a later date so BFR dried them out and obliged to their request of giving them functional brakes until then.
If this situation was left up to greedy corporate service, they would repair anything that they see fit needing repair, in the middle of repair, without asking. BFR can’t justify that mentality of seizing a customer’s equipment asset for undisclosed company profit. Respect is a thing in the small business game.
#SupportSmallBusinesses
Small businesses thrive on creativity and originality. There are times when a website feature solves the needs of customers and is relevant to your service, too! In the photos above, watch a corporate website feature turn into BFR’s inspiration for our “Service Manufacturers” page then become a website feature to another small business out of state. This is a technique used to prevent corporate competitors from undercutting small businesses! 💪
#StaySmallBusinessStrong
Try BFR’s customizable forklift repair services today! This customer took advantage of both available options on the same day. They had diagnosis’ of a bad starter and flywheel. The new starter was installed on-site. For the flywheel repairs to take place, the engine had to be removed. The customer’s repair area was cramped due to normal operations so the flywheel was replaced at the shop. The customer also opted out of a tow bill and transported their forklift to the shop themselves. At the end of every day, BFR will ALWAYS strive to meet all the needs of our customers.
Potential customers, like these two in the above photos, who use the BFR site in the manner that it was intended to be used deserve a big round of applause!! 👏 You are more than just customers, you are small business heroes. Our abilities to sift through this content are 2nd to NONE as BFR is obligated to provide to our customers top notch forklift repair service!! 😉
