“The Leader In High-Quality, Low-Cost Forklift Repair”™️
What a tease the warm weather has been! That means it’s time for cruise in’s in BFR fashion to advertise the business while donating to food banks for those in need.
In recent events, the BFR hot rod attended a cruise in at Life Community Church in Jamestown. Had the pleasure of parking beside a humble Lambo SVJ owner sporting an average Joe appearance. His reply to the BFR hot rod? ”I bet that’s a neighbor hater!” All one could do was laugh. It was mentioned that the Lambo tag said “ONURKOO” so then a clever idea formed of requesting a personalized tag that says “NABRH8R” and the rest is history! “ONDGAS” has been tried for a personalized tag but was denied and refunded by the good ol’ NC DMV yet “XCELR8” was approved and means the same thing. So, the Lambo guy’s idea is going to stay for now but “PULLL UP” is in future plans to try.
The BFR hot rod has taken on a whole new appearance inside and out with a new 2500 HD hood and GMC Sierra luxury seats with arm rests and a center console. It has also reverted back to the original deep rumble of a Flowmaster. Special thanks to TNT Exhaust of Reidsville for being patient with the indecisive BFR team on which personal vehicles to put the Flowmaster and Spin Tech exhausts on. The indecisiveness padded their pockets in their favor. TNT Exhaust is one of the best businesses around and has been around since 1978. BFR chose to use them even though they were closed the Friday before Mrs. BFR’s birthday. That shows how loyal customers are to this business. The employees are humorous in saying things like “you can’t sneak up on ‘em now” to “you’re ready to go outrun that truck” knowing dang well that a luxury SUV is a humpty dumpty and would never catch a built truck, but we love their enthusiasm.
The BFR team can say that we are in possession of the fastest truck and SUV from the NC-65 100-acre woods! The BFR team knows how to have fun so drink your liquid courage and line ’em up at the strip if you’re brave enough. (Calling all cars, motorcycles, trucks and diesels included) because the hot rod truck has gapped rings, and some know what that means. It’s only going to go up in upgrades from here! Special thanks to the BFR customers who make everything in life possible. ❤️
BFR was provided with a grateful opportunity from our repeat High Point customer. What you see is a job of replacing a torque converter seal on-site per customer request. Special thanks to life-long friend and rainy-day employee, Bruce, for his expert help with this job!
Employee policies are one of a kind at BFR. We love and care about our employees! If they get sick, we want them to stay away from customers until 100% better. If they get burned out and need a mental health day, take it. If they have medical and family priorities to take care of, do it. BFR is going to take care of our customers no matter what obstacles each employee may be facing. A flexible job where employees always have each other’s back makes everyone happy.
My goodness does persistence and faith pay off in small business!!! After a couple of regular customers shut down at the beginning of 2025, the BFR team scrambled to retain the inevitable loss. While maintaining a positive spirit in that when one door closes, another one opens, today, BFR experienced that open door opportunity.
Welcome aboard the BFR train to our new customer out of Asheboro specializing in plastic fabrication!!!! Special thanks to Gary, the man with the plan.
The amazing fact is that BFR lost 4 forklifts but secured service and repairs to 6 forklifts by outperforming a local competitor. God is good y’all!!! 🙌🙏 The task took nearly 3 weeks but going somewhere slowly is STILL better than going nowhere fast like a criminal. 💯
MAKE THE BRIGHT CHOICE
You rock, we roll! (Literally!)
Choosing Brad’s Forklift Repair, LLC. gives you exactly what you need —an affordable mobile forklift repair service that can handle your everyday maintenance and repairs but won't clean out your wallet!
BFR started Monday off with its first new customer of 2025!!! 🥳 The first couple of weeks of the new year have been a small uphill climb but it’s all about balance and maintaining a never give up attitude. A couple of respectable BFR customers have announced that they are shutting their doors for good and selling their equipment due to this terrible economy. Please pray for the families affected by the sudden layoffs. One customer specialized in creating gift bags while the other specialized in renting out huge bounce houses. It’s understandable how it came to this as these businesses offer luxuries that aren’t essential and are suffering the worst right now. No one deserves to have to shut the doors on their business so here’s to wishing the ones that had to, a new and improved opportunity in the future! As for BFR, we’ll adapt and overcome the new changes for effective and efficient operations in 2025. 💯
Important notice:
Effective January 6, 2025, BFR is implementing a near 15% increase in our business rates due to continued rising operational costs and adjustments to improve service quality. Our rates have been static since startup, so the BFR team perceives this change was necessary to continue to deliver quality services to our customers and operate optimally. We value our customers continued partnership and appreciate the understanding as we adapt to these market changes. All 2024 customers have been notified through USPS snail mail as of December 31, 2024, with an in-depth explanation on this situation. As always, thanks for your continued support!
With this change, BFR is nevertheless affordable and can render the same quality service as a corporation without the hefty price tags and comical fees. We are also the ONE and ONLY true small forklift repair business with a rate at or below $100 in Rockingham County! The closest competition with similar rates is 2 small businesses in Forsyth County. Check out these known corporate rates, then give BFR a call if you have yet to experience the quality of service.
Transparency will always be a characteristic that sets BFR apart from its competitors. Small businesses should be transparent because it builds trust with customers, enhances brand reputation and can ultimately lead to increased customer loyalty and a competitive edge in the market, especially as consumers increasingly value ethical practices and openness from companies they support.
Key benefits of transparency for small businesses:
Important aspects of transparency for small businesses:
With that said, it’s already time to prepare for tax season and it all starts with determining the businesses gross income for the year. BFR mobile deposits any check that lands into the hands of the owners. Checks are treated like trophies around here. Over the course of a year, a stack develops that is saved and filed away with returns. Since the formation of BFR, it seems like every year is a record year. Sometimes the BFR team feels the need to pinch themselves to ensure it’s real. Although, this photo doesn’t dictate direct deposits or cash payments, it still symbolizes a chunk of our small business value. The total amount or how many checks are stacked doesn’t really matter. What matters is the blood, sweat and tears steaming from opportunity and trust formed through simple word of mouth. This is our achieved livelihood from the support of long-term partnerships to total strangers. The contents of this stack helped our business sustain a thriving life in professional and personal ways and genuinely helped prepare for the future. We just can’t thank our customers enough for their continued support! Cheers to what’s to come in 2025 and for other small businesses to be inspired to keep going! Everyone is on a different business level and respect for each other‘s path is the key.
As BFR reflects on the year that is coming to a close, our customers are always at the top of our appreciation list. Small businesses that offer services are responsible for customer satisfaction but sometimes the customer goes the extra mile for small businesses and for that we are eternally grateful. Looking back on 2024, there are two instances where chance landed perfection when at the right place at the right time.
In March of 2024, Chris of Quantum Packaging had called BFR to give away a forklift. You read that right, GIVE away a free forklift! This company is based out of Miami, FL and was completing contracted work in Greensboro. The shock of the story doesn’t end there. They originally tried to give this forklift to a local corporation that turned it down due to its age. Why would anyone want to give away a forklift? The answer is simple. The forklift had major wiring issues, but the engine and transmission were in excellent working condition. This forklift was at the point where the bill of repairs would cost the company more than keeping it. Plus, they would have faced a tow bill of traveling from NC to FL. It was not worth it to them. Of course, BFR jumped on the opportunity and the rest is history. The forklift was towed to the BFR residence where it took about 3 months to sort out the wiring issue. Once resolved, the forklift was placed for sale and sold to a local Stoneville customer with a maintenance contract, so BFR still has service ties to this forklift today.
Another story that is worth sharing happened just a little over two months ago, on a Sunday afternoon. Surry Communications of Dobson called, not for a breakdown or repair request, but for some genuine help as it was an off day. They couldn’t get in touch with their in-house forklift mechanic at the time. This company was trying to sell one of their forklifts to upgrade. Everything was fine up until the prospected buyer showed up to test the forklift. The forklift would not go into gear and they needed to know what was wrong. BFR provided the information that it needed a minor repair of a shift linkage cable. The customer still sold the forklift and BFR received an unexpected three-digit digital payment. It’s not often that a small business gets paid for knowledge after business hours.
Before the year ends, BFR would like to say special thanks to these two businesses for going above and beyond for BFR when they absolutely did not have to. These are the type of businesses that make being a small business owner rewarding and should be recognized. Their actions speak volumes and any other business who has them as a customer can be assured that they are dealing with establishments of high integrity.
Finally, enjoy some Bible verses to ring in the new year with keen awareness in every aspect of life from business customers to family and friends. It’s all connected to who you are and want to become. As with any type of relationship, seek partnerships and avoid projects. Always remember that two genuinely humane partners with pure intentions can stand back-to-back and conquer the world while the wicked sit back, watching as they rot away. Here at BFR, our customers are our most valued partners to have on our business journey and we don’t take them for granted. We also have our triple-braided cord of employees and are unstoppable so that means 2025 is all about upgrades. 💯
To all our customers: Cheers to a new chapter of improvement and growth! It’s a blessing to have customers that inspire us to be better each day. BFR can’t be thankful enough for all of the support showed to us this year. May the upcoming year be filled with success, wealth and the ability to continue working with new and established customers. It’s hard to imagine where our business would be without the help and endless support of our customers. May the upcoming year be filled with good deals and success. Let’s get the party started!
BFR will be closed Wednesday and Thursday for the New Years’ holiday.
Here’s to wishing our customers a heart full of joy this holiday season! Your support has meant the world to us at BFR. Thank you for being a cherished part of our journey. As the year comes to a close, we reflect on the warmth your patronage has brought to our hearts at BFR. In this season of gratitude, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for choosing BFR to service and repair your forklifts and other heavy equipment. Your trust is the greatest gift, and we're grateful for your patronage. During this festive time, we want to express our sincere appreciation for your loyalty. Your presence in our journey has made it truly special. Merry Christmas!
BFR will return to business duties on Friday December, 27th.
BFR is offering some Marketplace tips for small business owners! Have you ever noticed the incline of small business advertising on Facebook Marketplace from individual accounts??? This means that they are advertising their business for FREE! BFR decided to take an in-depth look on this topic.
Sure enough, it exists and works only in a certain way using carefully chosen keywords (without saying the word business), otherwise the listing will be flagged and removed.
Key points:
• Needs to be a mobile business to function properly (ex. Mobile plumber, mobile cake decorator, mobile automotive mechanic, etc.)
• Keep the ad short and simple using special keywords such as “contact to learn more” and list a few of the services you offer such as “parts replacements“, “engine repairs”, “fluid changes”, etc.
• Never put your phone number in the ad (unless it’s on your commercial vehicle in a picture) and use Messenger as the main form of contact
• Fill the ad with all 10 pictures of your work, rotating out different pictures for the ad renewal
• Always keep an eye on the listing for the “Renew” button and “Delete and Relist” to keep the ad at the top
In no time, your small business will attract customers from a wide range of locations across the map. BFR can confirm that this is a useful tool for any small business. Try advertising your small business for FREE on Marketplace today!
Note: Anyone who reports this loophole to Facebook should be banned from the internet. Mark Zuckerberg has already been in hot water in January 2024 by lawmakers over child safety for not doing enough to protect children online so any loophole that takes advantage of his pockets is worth participating in! 💯
